I had a phone call with the site lead that was supposed to be half an hour but ended up being an hour and a half in person with the lead and a manager. They mentioned they could train me and that no one else had been interviewed yet, which made me feel like a strong candidate, especially since they wanted someone local. However, I was told four months later that I didn't get the job, even though the listing is still active and updated. The whole thing felt like a waste of time and left me feeling down, with only generic email responses instead of feedback.

The interview was professionally run and on time, handled by both the National Manager and the Head of Legal. It took place in person at the company's French headquarters. The interview felt like a back-and-forth, moving quickly and directly. They didn't make me feel bad if I didn't have a complete answer or if I needed to take a moment. It felt a bit more intense than what I'd expect for an entry-level internship. They gave a good overview of the company and its business, and there was a standard English language test. Overall, it was a good interview, but applicants should be ready for multiple interviewers and potentially a good-cop/bad-cop dynamic.
