Business Development Manager
The recruiter cancelled the call last minute, only 5 minutes before the scheduled time. It was pretty late on a Friday in my timezone, and I had to cancel all my Friday plans. This was the first time the Talent team didn't advance me to speak with the Hiring Manager, even though my experience was perfect and I was a cultural fit. I wouldn't recommend the interview experience with EBANX.
- What motivates your interest in joining EBANX?
Software Engineer
The EBANX hiring process is really well-defined. It starts with a screening, then a practical test, followed by an interview with a recruiter, then a technical interview, and finally a chat with the managers. I made it through every step, but in the end, they said my profile was a better fit for an intermediate (pleno) level, and there were no openings for that. The recruitment team was fast and professional, getting back to me quickly and keeping me updated throughout. My only suggestion would be to maybe not require both the practical test and the technical interview. Doing both can be super tiring, especially if you're interviewing with other companies too, and then you have this long theoretical discussion. Offering a choice between the practical test and the technical interview could make things smoother and save everyone time, plus avoid silly mistakes from being exhausted. Making it more flexible could lead to a better and more productive interview experience for everyone.
- What's your approach to fixing critical bugs when there's no documentation or Git history available?
Product Manager
The interview process includes a chat with the people team, then with the hiring manager. It really depends on the manager. Some give a case study, others just have a conversation. But overall, it's pretty chill. Not everyone can really assess a candidate. English skills are super important because the company wants to go global.
- Can you share details about your past work experiences?

Product Marketing
I was approached by a recruiter and had an initial chat with the selection company. So far, the experience was great. Then, when I went to be interviewed by the internal people at the company, the experience was terrible... At no point did it seem like they were open to hearing me out or that they wanted to hire me. I felt very cornered and judged the whole time, with some terrible remarks from the interviewers... It was one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had! Also, I haven't received any feedback to this day (the process happened at the end of last year), neither negative nor positive, they didn't reply to my messages, nor did they give me any kind of feedback. Worst interview experience ever...
- Tell me more about what you did, nothing too technical!
