The interview process was pretty straightforward. It involved three interviews, and they were all very direct. I felt I did really well in the first two, so much so that the recruiter even hinted I basically had the job, and the final interview was just to discuss expectations. The third interview, however, was totally different. I'm not sure if it was the VP or director of sales, but they seemed completely uninterested. They also seemed annoyed that I wasn't put off by their lack of interest. They didn't like my voice pitch, even though I think selling is all about understanding problems and solutions, and everything else is just details. We just didn't connect at all. That interview gave me bad vibes, like a boiler room. I was upfront about leaving my current job, and they seemed concerned that I'd only been there four months. But after I explained I wasn't being paid correctly for my role, they became even more concerned? It makes you wonder about a company where employees or potential employees can't make decisions that benefit themselves and their future. If you weren't getting paid on time, and your paychecks were short by $600, would you stay?

I got contacted by them on a Friday night around 7pm ET, and then again on Monday night around 7pm ET. Both times I tried to call them back soon after, and they left voicemails asking me to email them because they wanted to get a 'jump start on my application' and were interested. However, I didn't have any emails for them to reply to, even though my email was in my application. Then, I got a LinkedIn notification that they rejected my application. I'm quite frustrated about being called at such late hours with no way to email them back, and then getting a rejection on LinkedIn.

The interview process was straightforward and well-organized. It started with an online application, followed by an initial screening call to discuss my background and skills. Next, I was asked to complete a short skills assessment related to common virtual assistant tasks, such as email management and basic data entry. Finally, there was a one-on-one interview with a team member, which included scenario-based questions to assess problem-solving and communication skills. The process was transparent and not overly time-consuming, which I appreciated.

They asked too many questions for the low compensation. They should really lessen it, given that they provide trainings for potential VAs, especially if you're planning to start a career as a VA. But if you have experience, I'd recommend looking for another agency that offers a higher salary.
