Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Doneverse.
Sales
The interview process started with a phone call, then moved to a video interview, and finally included more interviews. Overall, it was a pretty basic interview process with about 2-3 rounds, which is what you'd expect for questions and answers. It was a great experience. Alicia was really nice and friendly to chat with. Be prepared to be on video.
- Could you describe your prior experience in this field?
Sales Representative
So basically there were two rounds of interviews. The first was a pretty standard chat about my past work and experience. Then, the second interview was a role-playing scenario where I had to use a script. It was straightforward, but I kind of felt like the evaluation was a bit subjective, more about whether they personally liked me rather than how well I actually performed the script.
- Could you walk me through your previous roles and responsibilities?
- Let's do a role-play exercise where you follow this script.
Inside Sales Representative
The interview process was very unprofessional. The HR person told me one thing, but the second interviewer said something totally different. They sent me a script that was less than a page long, super simple, and then had me do a role play. I received no feedback, and the interviewer was totally dry! The interviewer was in a hurry and I didn't get any rapport building time. Our call was supposed to be 30 minutes, but I was done in 15 because he said he had another meeting.
- Reflecting on your performance, what aspects do you believe you handled well?
- Conversely, what parts of your performance do you think could have been improved?
