Research Associate
It's mostly behavorial, focused on understanding your motivation for doing the LO interview. Then there's a 1-hour case study followed by a debrief. You really need to have a strong 'why LO' story. It depends a lot on the interviewer, mainly based on fit and need. It's not as structured as banking or PE processes.

Analyst
So the interview process was pretty structured. First, I had a chat with a recruiter, then I met with the hiring manager, and finally, I talked to some other folks on the team. It felt like a lot of rounds, and there might have even been more, but honestly, everyone was super nice. I get why they do it this way, it helped me learn a ton about the job and the company, so I didn't feel like my time was wasted. Still, maybe they could be a little more mindful of how long it takes for candidates.
- What makes you want to apply for this specific position?
Administrative
The interview process was pretty long. First, I had a one-on-one virtual interview, then two separate virtual interviews where two people interviewed me each time. After that, I had an in-office day with six interviews. It was a really exhausting process and felt a bit excessive. It seemed like I had to meet with everyone important, which wasn't really necessary, especially since many interviewers asked the exact same things. You could tell they were all following a script.

- Tell me about a project you finished and how you handled its process from start to finish.
Data Specialist
The interview process spanned 6 weeks. It started with an HR interview, followed by 6 interviews with 2 people each, who were key stakeholders for the role. These interviews included competency questions and going through my resume/experience. I found the junior and middle-management interviews to be engaging and enjoyable, giving me a good chance to show my enthusiasm and worth. However, the more senior interviewers, particularly the data heads, were cold and disinterested, asking questions in a confusing way, which was a turn-off. The hiring process also suffered from poor communication; after sending a thank-you note, I was acknowledged that the Hiring Manager still needed to speak with HR. Two weeks later, after another note to HR, I received no response and saw the position was no longer advertised, meaning I was ghosted.
