The interview process was very good and collaborative, attentive. The questions were concise and thought-provoking. It was very good and very pleasant, questions reflecting the light of the sea, which is what everyone is doing with the whole world, that you are not capable of it, that it is a dream that you can be sure of.

We start with an initial meeting that includes some technical questions. Then, you'll be given a case study to work on, followed by a presentation and a Q&A session with management. You'll also need to complete personality and IQ tests, and then discuss those results with HR and management. A verbal offer will be made, then the official offer.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process involves a trade idea where you'll need to provide a global market news update and analysis, followed by pitching a trade idea relevant to the trading desk. This is followed by interviews that cover both technical and behavioral aspects related to asset classes. There will be more than one round of interviews.

Behavioral Technical Coding

Applied for a Backend Software Developer role at DNB PM Digital Labs, focusing on innovating and strategizing for DNB's retail market. First, had an interview with two recruiters about my experience and the job. Then, got a case study to complete in just over a week: build a loan application for user submissions and advisor reviews. This involved creating a Single Page App, user access controls, using multiple programming languages, deploying on AWS/Azure with Cloudwatch monitoring, writing tests, and documenting everything. Bonus for Serverless Architecture, CI/CD, and IaC with Terraform. It was tough with my work hours, but I used my free time, including weekends. About a month later, got an automated rejection email from someone new, which was confusing since I applied for multiple roles. Disappointed by the automated response after all the effort. I emailed recruiters for clarity but got no answer. My application logs showed no traffic to my provided link, suggesting my work wasn't even reviewed. Tried following up multiple times with no response. This 'ghosting' is a bad experience and makes me question DNB's candidate respect. I won't apply or engage with DNB in the future; their hiring process reflects their culture.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Could you develop a loan application that allows users to submit applications and advisors to review them?
  • Did you create a Single Page Application as part of the loan application development?
  • Were user access controls implemented for the loan application?
