Software Engineer
The interview was quite different from what I expected. Unfortunately, it was not a positive experience for me. The interviewer appeared nervous and had difficulty explaining the problem clearly, which led to some confusion. Although I was able to solve the problem and explain my approach, the communication during the session was minimal. The conversation felt very one-sided, and it was hard to understand what was expected of me. I was genuinely surprised that someone struggling to communicate effectively was in a position to assess candidates. It was disappointing to encounter this, especially coming from a company with such a strong reputation.

Product Designer
A recruiter initially contacted me. Overall, the interviews seemed okay. It started with a standard recruiter screen, followed by two to four one-on-one meetings with stakeholders. In the final one-on-one, a lead engineer spent the first ten minutes trying to bring up my resume, which was a bit odd given I'd already had 3-4 interviews with them. They then made some dismissive comments about my work and only allowed me to show final mockups. However, they criticized my case study, saying I hadn't made any meaningful changes, which was strange since they didn't allow me to present the full case study and only looked at the final mockups out of context. Their questioning felt confrontational and disrespectful. Designers put weeks into creating case studies, and that's how we showcase work, process, research, and mocks. Anyone hiring an experienced designer should know that final mockups aren't the most crucial part. This behavior from a lead engineer was unprofessional and might indicate a larger issue in how their development and design teams collaborate. I actually ended an interview early for the first time because of this. I should mention that the recruiter and some other team members were very nice, though the design organization seemed a bit young and inexperienced.
- I don't recall the specific questions, but they didn't appear to be behavioral. The discussion felt somewhat unstructured.
Sales Trainer
I applied through LinkedIn and had an initial recruiting call. This was followed by a 30-minute interview with the department director and then a secondary 30-minute group interview with the director and another team member. The interviewers were nice, but a little hard to read. They gave me a timeline for when I should expect to hear back. However, I never heard back from recruitment (everything was managed via Jobvite) after sending a thank you follow-up. I was completely ghosted with no feedback or decision. It felt unprofessional to not even get a reply to my thank you email, let alone a decision on my application status.

Account Manager
So, first there were two phone calls with the recruiting company. They asked general questions and told me what they were looking for. Then, I had two in-person meetings with the Regional Manager. In the first one, he asked for more details on my education and experience, and in the second, he went into the specifics of the job. After that, I had a Skype call with a Corporate Executive, which was the last interview to see if I'd fit the company culture. Finally, I met with the Regional Manager again to go over the exact responsibilities and negotiate the offer.
