Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Divisions Maintenance Group.
Account Executive
Don’t waste your time. This company could care less about you and your work/life balance. You do not want to work here. Decent base salary but a lot to build a book of business.
- Are you okay with coming into the office every day?
Account Executive
Recruiter reached out and we scheduled a phone screen. The call went well, so we set up an in-person interview. The in-person experience was not great. The person I job shadowed seemed uninterested in my questions and my presence. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, who asked personal questions not related to the job. The hiring manager seemed uninterested and rushed me out. I felt discriminated against even though I met the qualifications. People of color, don't bother applying at DMG.
- Can you describe your educational background?
Sales Executive
The interview felt pretty laid-back and chatty, overall a good vibe. Lots of behavior-based questions, which is typical for my job search. The interviewer explained the point of each question before I answered, which was neat.
- Could you share an instance where precision was crucial?
- Describe a situation where you encountered failure.
- Can you give an example of a time you were creative?
