I went through a multi-stage recruitment process: An HR interview with Piash, which was very friendly. A remote technical test, which I passed. A job interview with Ilyes, which was constructive and positive. Then, two technical interviews: a backend one (1h with Oliver), which went very well, and a frontend one (1h with Thomas). Regarding this last frontend test, I answered all questions correctly, as an experienced fullstack developer. However, the feedback was negative, without a clear explanation. I strongly felt the decision wasn't based on my technical skills, but influenced by other personal considerations, especially related to my background. This kind of behavior is extremely disappointing, particularly in a professional setting that should promote fairness and diversity. I recommend the company be more vigilant about these kinds of issues at the end of the process, as it undermines the credibility of the previous stages, which were otherwise well-conducted.

This interview process was not very pleasant. It involved 7 interviews in total, with some rounds combining multiple interviews. Plan to spend about 10 hours in total, including an estimated 4 hours for the take-home assignment. The final stage is an onsite meeting with a C-level executive. The process felt disorganized, as the questions asked didn't match what the recruiter told me. The interview format also changed after I received the official invitation. The hiring manager and recruiter gave conflicting information about the next steps. Then, 4 business days after my final interview and reference check, I was told the position was on hold with no timeline for when it would be unfrozen. I felt like the company didn't value my time and effort, especially since they rushed me through the process earlier. The company seems disingenuous, although the people I met were friendly. It seems like there's a significant internal management issue.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I highly advise against trying the recruitment process with Meero based on my experience and feedback from many other candidates. The company provided conflicting and inconsistent information throughout the process, especially towards the end. This suggested the process wasn't fair, equitable for all candidates, or that the final decision wasn't genuine. You can look at the company's profile and online reviews to get a sense of it. The stage with the CEO was particularly problematic and unprofessional. His behavior made it clear from the start that... Eventually, after 45 days, the company sent a generic rejection message. I had to ask them for feedback, and they mentioned they had already hired someone else! I hope my review helps the company improve rather than just dismissing all criticism.

A very POSITIVE experience. The interviews went smoothly and effectively, showing a well-organized process. Each step was clearly defined, allowing me to showcase my skills and motivation. The people I met were the key element of this experience. They were not only professional but also warm and welcoming. Their positive attitude helped create a relaxed atmosphere, fostering constructive exchanges. I particularly appreciated the transparency and open-mindedness of the team. They took the time to listen carefully to my questions and provided clear and complete answers. I'm thrilled to be part of this adventure!
