I applied online and got a call back the next day. The first interview was the same day. I went to the office and did a survey about my interest. The secretary and other staff seemed really nice. About four other people were also waiting for interviews. The assistant manager interviewed me, and it was pretty quick. She said I'd know within an hour if I'd get a second interview. I did get the call, and the second interview was scheduled for the next day. The second round involved shadowing the top two account reps all day. They were cool and told me honestly about the company and their jobs. At the end of the day, I filled out another survey about my thoughts on the role and company. Then, I had a quick third interview with a higher-level assistant manager to go over that survey. He told me I'd hear back within the hour if I got the job. I did get an offer, but I turned it down. Everyone was friendly, and the office had a 'work hard, play hard' vibe, with mentions of team sports and hanging out. A typical day would include a morning meeting, about six hours in my sales territory, and an end-of-day meeting.

I had a first round interview with DBC. I was asked to come back for a second round but decided against it because I had a bad feeling about how the company operated. I had to go to their office in Troy for the first round, which lasted only 15 minutes. This was a pre-screening interview that could have been done over the phone. It seemed inconsiderate to make people drive there for such a short interview. Even though I was annoyed about driving over an hour for 15 minutes, I was glad I saw their office because it showed me that their attempt to portray a fun, young, trendy atmosphere was not well-executed. The office vibe felt forced and wasn't the authentic, fun, start-up-like atmosphere that young businesses want. Employees wore business formal, but I didn't get a professional vibe from the company. After reading other DBC reviews, I decided not to pursue it. They are a young company, but for their size, I expected a more organized interview process. I also wish they had been more upfront about the process on the phone when they invited me before I drove all the way out there for the interview.

I found the job on Careerbuilder and was contacted about an interview the next day. There were three rounds total, and it felt pretty relaxed. First, I talked to a manager who asked me some get-to-know-you questions. Then, a top trainer explained the business. Finally, the hiring manager went over the business details and answered my questions. I got a call later that afternoon with a job offer from DBC.

Had 3 short interviews, asked basic questions and gave a limited outline of the training. Left out details on the actual process. This role is basically door to door sales with a chance to move up after hitting vague requirements. The company is under Credico. Google Credico before applying. Office seems nice, but I doubt some employee statements. Lots of showmanship to hide potential problems.
