First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delta Dental Plans Association.
UX Researcher
The recruiter call was pretty easy, but the rest of the interview process was all over the place and disorganized. I was supposed to get an email for next steps, but then there was silence. I reached out to ask about it and was told the hiring manager was on vacation. Then I got an email thanking me for interviewing and saying the position was filled, even though I never formally interviewed.
- Can you describe some data analysis methods you have employed?
Customer Service Representative
It was a pretty easy interview process, mostly behavioral questions to see if I'd fit in at a call center. A lot of the questions were about customer service and how I'd handle situations where I needed to work alone or with others. The whole thing went smoothly and they kept me informed.
- Can you tell me about a challenging customer interaction and how you managed it?
Chief Financial Officer
Had a great initial chat with the Chief People Officer. They were really nice and open, and quick to respond. It turned out not to be a match in the end, but I did enjoy learning about the organization. I really liked that they were handling their own search for this executive position.
- Can you explain how your past experience is a good fit for this position?
Business Analyst
I applied online and after a couple weeks, HR called me for a phone screening. The questions were basic pre-interview ones like why I want to work there and what my salary expectations are. If I met the criteria, I was invited to a virtual interview with the hiring manager and another associate via Microsoft Meetings. I got the offer two weeks after the interview. The whole thing took about a month.
