A VP reached out on Christmas Eve for a phone interview and confirmed the time, but then never showed up. It's been weeks and I'm still shocked by how disrespectful and unprofessional that was. I hope they realize how bad that behavior looks for their company.

VERY positive interview and onboarding experience overall. The interview process might be longer than usual, but each stage is important for stakeholders to get to know you, and for you to understand DB&A and their culture. Talking with recruiter Maria C and Tisha from HR at different points was really helpful, engaging, and honest. I always felt valued and knew where I stood. They follow through on their promises quickly, which makes for a great candidate experience. Maria C was especially helpful, keeping me informed and ready for each step – it was a great experience!

I had a call with a knowledgeable recruiter. The first hiring manager interview went well and they seemed interested in my background. The second hiring manager interview was really unprofessional; they hung up the call and were yawning a lot. They asked about me, interrupted, and said they needed a web application developer, not a website developer, even though I have experience building components, testing APIs, mapping data, and doing unit and end-to-end tests. I wouldn't recommend this company.

The interview process with DB&A was thorough, not exactly difficult but definitely not average. It kicked off with recruiter Tony Kitchen, who was super helpful throughout. The process involved a few chats with Tony, then a pitch call, followed by an in-person meeting with the head of business development, and finally, a phone conversation with two really successful BDRs. The whole experience, from start to finish, felt impressive and classy. I quickly got a great vibe about the culture and the people at DB&A.
