VERY positive interview and onboarding experience overall. The interview process might be longer than usual, but each stage is important for stakeholders to get to know you, and for you to understand DB&A and their culture. Talking with recruiter Maria C and Tisha from HR at different points was really helpful, engaging, and honest. I always felt valued and knew where I stood. They follow through on their promises quickly, which makes for a great candidate experience. Maria C was especially helpful, keeping me informed and ready for each step – it was a great experience!

A recruiter contacted me about a travel consultant role. The first call was to give me the rundown on the job and see if I was a fit. I honestly didn't grasp the full scope until I dug into the FAQ she sent after. The second call was to check if I was still on board with the 100% travel requirement and to ask any questions. I only had one question, but it didn't get answered. I asked about the company's safety measures for employees working in the field (like policies or team efforts), but she couldn't provide details. She had to look into it and never got back to me because I wasn't chosen. I found out by email that I didn't make it to the next round. It still bugs me that the HR person didn't know anything about safety policies.

The interview process was quite long. First, I got a call from a recruiter, then the HR Manager, followed by a phone interview with a current Project Manager. After that, I had an in-person interview with a Special Projects Coordinator. The recruiter had initially contacted me about a year before, but the compensation didn't align with the travel requirements. She kept my details, and when the salary structure changed, she reached out again to schedule the interview. The HR Manager conducted a phone screen to see if I could advance. During the phone interview, the Project Manager seemed to almost discourage me from continuing, emphasizing the demanding nature of the job and the 100% travel. The one-on-one meeting with the special projects coordinator was quite straightforward. Since we weren't near an office, we met at a Starbucks, which was pretty distracting. He was in business casual, which felt a bit off since I was in a suit in the Texas heat. A week later, the HR Manager called for some information, and I completed some assessments. The orientation class started nearly two months after that.
