First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DB&A.

First, a phone interview with the recruiter. After that, an in-person interview happened in Dallas. The whole process took about 2 weeks and wasn't too hard. Just because you get an offer doesn't mean you should accept it though.
- Were there any mathematical reasoning questions that weren't too difficult?
Consultant Senior
Got an interview with a recruiting firm, then had 1 HR interview and 2 interviews with partners from the firm. The process was fast for a recruitment, with an offer and job acceptance coming within 72 hours after the last meeting.
- Tell me about your background.
- Technical question on taxation.
- Excel test.
Consultant
Applied online and shortly after had a phone interview. It was great, very professional, detailed, and honest. HR wanted to ensure we both understood the role and would be a good fit. Soon after, a personal interview was set up with an Operations Manager at an airport hotel, but it was a few weeks out due to travel schedules (no travel reimbursement). The interview was nice and professional, though the timed ability/cognitive test seemed a bit out of place. The next day, the background check was approved and took about a week. After passing the final phone interview with a senior manager, we agreed on a date about 2 weeks later. The final interview was open and professional, and within 2 days I got a positive confirmation. The written offer was delayed a few times because the company was updating its forecast, but HR kept me in the loop regularly, showing they still wanted to hire me.
- No unexpected or difficult questions if you are prepared and did your research.
- They expect you to ask reasonable questions and many of them.
- That is good, so don't be shy!
