I had a really positive experience interviewing with Dataprise. The process was thoughtful, well-structured, and gave me the opportunity to meet with multiple members of the team, including leadership. Each conversation built on the last, which made it easy to understand both the role and the broader direction of the organization. What stood out most was how collaborative and transparent everyone was. The team was open about where things are today, where they want to go, and the role marketing will play in driving that growth. It felt like a place where ideas are welcomed, and where there’s real opportunity to make an impact. I also appreciated how quickly the process moved and how communicative the team was throughout. Overall, it felt like a genuine, people-first culture with strong alignment across leadership. Great experience from start to finish.

Behavioral Technical

It was a calm process with 3 engineers. They mostly reviewed my resume and prior work history. Questions centered around incident response (IR) and how I've handled rebuilding systems. They also asked about firewall knowledge and specific configurations, focusing heavily on incident response, restorations, and recovery. There were also questions about ESXi hosts and performing restores.

The interview process was pretty smooth and professional. It had two rounds, and I got feedback quickly after each part. First was a screening to check my background and if I fit the qualifications. Then there was a deeper talk about my technical skills and how they matched what the job needs.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process was really quick and to the point, which was great. However, the technical questions felt a bit lacking, or maybe they just weren't explained well. I was asked about 5 questions covering only 3 topics, which doesn't seem like enough to cover everything for this role. Most of the questions were about finding where to make a specific change in the settings. They weren't super hard, but you can't recall the exact steps without having the OS open in front of you. The interviewer seemed rushed and I've had more in-depth interviews for less senior positions.

  • In VMware, where would you navigate to increase storage capacity?
  • Which version of VMware have you most recently used?
