Their interview process felt really long and unnecessary, though I get they're trying to filter candidates. It just seemed like the interviewers and specialists weren't really prepped or maybe just too worn out. You have to go through a lot, wait around for your turn, and it eats up way too much time when it could be a more streamlined application and interview experience.

First, you'll need to send in a 1-minute video of yourself introducing you. After that, if you pass the video stage, you'll take an exam. If you do well on the exam, we'll have you come in for an initial interview to chat about your background and see if you fit in here. If that goes well, you'll have a final interview, which might get pretty deep and could include talking with higher-ups or the team lead.

The interview was pretty interesting and straightforward if you were ready for it. I thought it was going to be a really short interview, but mine ended up being a bit longer. My interviewer was nice and friendly. They asked about my standout core skill, why I was interested in Cyberbacker, my salary expectations, what I knew about the company from my research, and my system specs like internet speed and processor. They also walked me through the company policies and asked if I was willing to follow them. I was given a chance to ask questions, which I did.

  • What is your motivation for choosing Cyberbacker?
