First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crown Equipment.
Data Engineer
I applied to Crown in July and they emailed me for an interview with the hiring manager in August. From initial interview to securing an offer, the process took around 3 weeks. I had a 30 minute interview with the hiring manager. Once I cleared that round they emailed me for a 2 and a half hour interview with HR rep, 4 Team Leads, and Hiring Manager. Interview process was easy and very straight forward!
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Account Manager
The interview process was straightforward and in-person. I really liked the people I met, and I even got to shadow an Account Manager for a full day, which gave me a much clearer picture of the actual job. They seem to focus on hiring the whole person, which I think is a really good approach.

Sales Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter who found my resume and we spoke about the position. She said I would be a great fit for the company and that I would be moving on to speak with the hiring managers. I interviewed with her at the beginning of May and was ghosted by the recruiter unless I contacted her. When I did email her to ask for updates, it took her almost a week to respond. Her responses were no more than one sentence. This is the middle of June and I am now receiving the generic auto-rejection email. She failed on her promise and was completely unprofessional. Due to the unprofessionalism of their recruiting staff, I will never recommend anyone to the company. I have also written other reviews to other platforms. STAY AWAY
- Can you describe yourself and explain how your skills and experience align with our company's needs?
Sourcing Specialist
The recruiter first mentioned a hybrid schedule was an option. However, upon arrival for the interview, it was clarified that no hybrid schedule was available, which was acceptable. About a week later, a second interview was requested, lasting a half day. I spent an entire afternoon meeting with four other hiring managers. Then, a week after that, I received a standard rejection email stating my application would not be moving forward. It seems they're searching for an exceptional candidate for every opening. The roles I interviewed for were components of my current job, not more challenging, and would have been simpler as I'd be handling fewer aspects of the process. They inquired about my willingness to pursue further education. I confirmed my interest, despite not needing my current educational qualifications for my present role, making higher education less logical for an easier position I already have experience in. Nevertheless, I was prepared to obtain that level of education.
