First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cross Country.
Security Engineer
I did a phone interview and thought it went pretty well. The questions were pretty basic and easy, and I think I answered them fine. But after that, HR just went silent. I tried calling and emailing a bunch, but I never heard back or got any info on how I did. It was a bummer not to get any feedback or even a response.
- What is the security header and what is a cookie attribute?
- How would you detect XSS vulnerabilities?
- Can you explain the difference between Gray Box and White Box testing?
Behavior Interventionist
The interview process was pretty easy. You just upload video responses to questions they ask. It saves you the hassle of going in person. It's self-paced and straightforward. Recruiters then check out your videos, and if they like your answers, they'll let you know what jobs you're a good fit for and how much they pay.
- Tell us about your general work experience.
- Do you have previous experience working with children?
- Can you share your specific experience with special education and disabilities?
Retail Sales Manager
So first, they look at your application and do a quick phone call to see if you're basically qualified and can talk okay. If you pass that, you'll have more interviews, and there's usually a few of them. They'll ask you stuff about your past experiences, how you'd handle certain situations, and your specific skills for the job. It's all about seeing how you've done before, if you can figure things out, and if you know what you're doing. Then, they check your references and do a background check, and if everything looks good, they'll offer you the job and tell you the details.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Cath Lab Technologist
I've worked with Cross Country for 8 years. Having the right recruiter truly makes a difference. The interview process is pretty straightforward. Once you start getting submitted for jobs, my recruiter was always upfront about the pay and knew a lot about the facility. She really made my job much easier.
- Do you have the required licenses and certifications?
- Can I get a reference for you?
- Tell me about your experience.
