Licensed Vocational Nurse
The interview was quick, focusing on my background, medical experience, and my motivation for the LVN role. It then moved on to questions about my comfort level with clinical skill procedures and my knowledge of emergency medications like Narcan, EpiPens, and insulin.
- When should a second dose of Narcan be administered?
Behavior Technician
After attempting to negotiate my rate, I heard nothing back and my offer was rescinded. I was confused why they wouldn't discuss it, especially since my interview with Sofia had been great. In hindsight, it was good I got another offer because I'm glad I won't be working for a company that doesn't value experienced people and can't respond professionally to a polite request.
- What were the usual questions asked during the interview?
Administrative Assistant
I've had a lot of interviews and always get the same outcome. It was a typical interview where they asked about my experience, why I wanted the job, and my availability. I was initially excited until I heard about the location and the pay. I initially agreed but then changed my mind when they mentioned I'd have to pay for parking. Doing the math, the commute wasn't worth it, costing about $300 every two weeks. I can see why they always need people for that spot. The candidate gets the job but has to pay for it. I told the interviewer how I felt and decided not to move forward. They said to reach out if I reconsider. Companies can't figure out why no one wants to work for them when they don't pay well.
- Can you confirm you're okay with covering parking costs?
- Is the offered salary acceptable to you?
- What information do you possess about Standford?
Practice Coordinator
I had a 3 step interview process. The first was a phone call with a recruiter where we talked about why I was interested in this healthcare experience and some basic situational questions. The second was an in person, one on one interview where I was asked more questions about my resume. The third was a one on one interview with the hiring manager where I was asked more about my commitment to the company and my experience/interest in healthcare for the position.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
- What is it about this specific position that interests you?
