It was simple. The hiring manager made me feel welcome and walked me through everything. Smiled and laughed the whole time. It really feels like you’re talking to your best friend if you love people. I’d highly suggest it. Go and show your worth!

The interview process was good. First, we were in a room with other applicants learning about cookout restaurant. Then, we waited to be called for a one on one interview. The interviewer was nice and knowledgable about the company. They asked basic interview questions that was easy to answer.

The process was easy enough, but the main issue was that they misrepresented the job in the Craigslist ad. They advertised for a Manager position, but it was actually for an Assistant Manager. The advertised wage was $40-70K, but the actual pay was $12/hr. They stated a minimum of 52.5 hours per week, but suggested working 60+ hours to even approach $40K. They also wanted you to work for weeks in various roles like dishwashing, cooking, and counter service, and then 'test out' of each. It felt like a total scam job, and I wouldn't want to start employment with such dishonesty, as it makes me wonder what else they might not be truthful about.

I sent my resume via email after seeing it on craigslist. I got a call the next day for an interview at 915am. (A little downside was they weren't open yet so I was waiting). There were 3 other people and the hiring manager gave us about a 20-minute speech on the company and the opportunity. It was super informative. Then, I had one-on-one interviews (they said to bring a copy of my resume and dress nice), and it went very well. They told me I'd get a call back in 3 to 5 days, and they called me the next day asking for a background check (which I had to pay $20 for). I sent that in and scheduled the second interview. I went in to go over any other questions, and I started the following Monday. They say it's $40,000 a year but it's $1200 biweekly, which is $31,200 a year with 26 paychecks, but you can get bonuses.
