Fundraising
The interviewers were open, transparent, and friendly. It felt like the candidate might have been pre-selected, maybe an internal candidate. If you feel the questions aren't probing deeply enough into the role's core responsibilities, feel empowered to steer the conversation.
- Could you give a quick presentation about your background?
- Tell me about your fundraising experience, and give me examples of specific situations you've encountered.
- What's your leadership approach?
Manager

Operations Manager
The interview process felt really drawn out. It started with an online test that took over 50 minutes and had about 15 sections. Then there was a first round with HR, followed by a panel interview, and then a leadership panel. It seemed like a lot for what is essentially a basic, non-technical role. The interviews were kind of weird too – it felt like they were trying to convince me how frustrating their jobs are and how outdated their IT systems are. For them to ghost me before the final round after such a time-consuming process is a really bad look, especially since they didn’t even bother to reply to a follow-up email. It’s quite disheartening to see conservation charities operating so unprofessionally.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in this role?
- What is your CI?
Senior Coordinator
First, I sent my resume. Then, I had an initial one-hour HR interview with various questions. After that, there was a panel interview with managers. Days after the deadline for results, they sent a poorly written email, without my name, stating the process ended there. No feedback, no consideration for candidates who dedicated time to the interviews. The process seemed disorganized.
- How do you see yourself in the future?
