It was an easy interview process. The hiring manager was approachable and easy to talk to. They had me walk through the department to meet the team. Overall, it was an okay experience. I dressed professionally.

I had an interview with the hiring manager and two other nurses from the unit. They asked some good questions that were directly related to the job on that unit. The other nurses were just as involved in the interview as the manager, and their feedback after my job shadow and interview was a really important part of their decision. It was a really professional but also pretty laid-back experience.

Behavioral Technical

Applied for the role and about ten days later, an associate recruiter texted to arrange a phone interview with the hiring manager. We agreed on a time, but a few days before, the hiring manager called to reschedule. The phone interview itself was quite poor; it felt rushed, and my answers were cut short. I honestly didn't expect to move forward to an in-person interview. When I arrived, I was initially seated in a break room with other candidates before the hiring manager came to grab coffee. She then took me upstairs to a conference room with three other people. However, they hadn't booked the room, and another meeting was clearly underway, with people waiting outside the door. Each person in the interview had just one question and a strict 30-minute schedule. Everyone introduced themselves with a handshake, but there was no discussion about their roles on the team or their part in the interview process. Following this, I received a rejection email nine days later with no further feedback.
