It was pretty straightforward. The interview questions focused on the company's core values, asking specific questions related to them and then probing deeper into my experiences. The only tricky part was making sure my experiences aligned with the specific values they were asking about.

The HR person was not ready and sent me to the wrong building even though I was a former employee. They came to get me and started explaining the campus. I asked if they had read my resume. Once in the interview room, I started a very in-depth technical discussion with the hiring manager, which was going well. However, the HR person interrupted, saying there would be time for that later, and began asking behavioral questions, like 'Tell us about a time where you disagreed with a policy or procedure and how you resolved that.' I responded that as a field employee, many policies were there for safety, and there was no need to disagree. They continued with several rounds of these questions, which seemed more suited for retail management roles. We attempted to return to the technical discussion after about half an hour, but the momentum was lost. This experience reminded me of the company's internal issues and excessive staff. Before COVID, I inquired about remote work options and was told I'd need to be in the office five days a week. Consequently, I declined the offer.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Tell us about a time you disagreed with a policy or procedure and how you handled it.
  • Describe a situation where you disagreed with a policy or procedure and how you resolved it.
