First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Colt Technology Services Group Limited.
Business Process Analyst
It was pretty simple. An agency reached out via email within two weeks of my application, and then an interview was scheduled. The interview was laid-back and conversational, covering my background and the responsibilities of the role. It felt like a two-way discussion. Overall, it was an impressive experience.
- Can you describe how you'd manage challenging stakeholders?
Data Engineer
The selection process includes three rounds: a written test with SQL, coding, and MCQs; a technical round covering skills and projects; and a final HR round discussing fit and expectations.
- Tell me about your projects.
- Can you explain SQL Joins and Normal Forms theoretically?
- What are Python Data Structures?
Assistant Director
The process was quite straightforward. There were two rounds with the business side and one with the HR VP. One of the rounds involved meeting the person who was currently in the role and whom this position would replace. The second round was with a VP, and after that, I was asked to meet the VP of HR.
- Can you explain SDLC?
- What are your thoughts on the telecom business?
- What are the current trends in telecom?
Internal Communications Specialist
The interview process took almost 3 months and felt very long. I had to chase the internal recruiter for updates after almost every step, otherwise, I wouldn't hear back for weeks. The steps included a call with the internal recruiter, a written task and strategic plan, a call with the manager, another task, and finally a presentation to the manager. There were more steps involved, but thankfully my journey ended there. The company eventually 'pulled' the role after the task stage for review, but it's now live again with no changes. The recruitment process was so frustrating that after the third meeting, I lost interest in working there and had to chase them for rejection feedback after 3 months.
- Tell me about the challenges you face in your current role.
- Are you responsible for managing global communications?
- What aspects of your current role do you find most enjoyable?
