Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Colt Technology Services Group Limited.
Analyst
Typically, there are two to three interview rounds, though this can change based on the job's seniority. The interview process is quite straightforward, and the team is very approachable.
- Were there any technical questions asked?
- Were there any behavioral questions asked?
- Were there any situation-based questions asked?

There were 3 main stages: first an aptitude test, then a group discussion with 5 people, followed by a technical interview. After those stages, there was a final HR round. The aptitude test covered math and reasoning. The technical interview was pretty tough and covered many current technologies, although some felt irrelevant to the actual job.
- Can you explain XPath?

Alec sent me an interview request directly via email without introducing himself or the company. He sent the meeting link directly in the email, and when it was time to connect, I had to search through our conversation to find the link, which wasted some time. I asked if knowledge of a specific ERP was necessary before the interview, and he said no. Then I had the interview with Mannu, which included many technical and skills questions. Apparently, despite Alec saying it wasn't important, Mannu asked if I had worked with 2 ERPs before. After that one-hour interview, they basically ghosted me! They didn't even reply when I asked for feedback. This, besides being disrespectful of candidates' time and effort, was quite unhelpful as I couldn't receive any constructive feedback.
- Could you explain what a reconciliation is?
- What motivated your choice to pursue a billing position?
- Can you describe your skills and typical tasks relevant to this role?
