I interviewed twice with Coditas for a backend/Node.js role, and cleared L1, L2, and even had a managerial discussion in both cases over a six-month period. The interviews were technically interesting and had knowledgeable people. My most recent experience was clearing the initial technical rounds and then having a deep discussion with a senior hiring manager. The talk was professional and focused on real-world scenarios, not theory, which was good. But, the overall experience was bad due to no transparency and closure. After going through many rounds and spending a lot of time, I got a generic rejection saying my profile didn't fit current needs, with no specific feedback or clarity on the role or project alignment. The same thing happened the last time I interviewed.

So for freshers, Coditas has this hiring process that's got five parts. First, there's an online group discussion, then an advanced group discussion, after that an L1 technical interview, then an L2 technical interview, and finally a communication test. They check your tech knowledge and soft skills in each round, talking about stuff like AI, ethical issues, and your projects.

The interview process starts with resume screening, then goes into initial interviews, which might be phone or video calls. After that, there could be skills assessments and more detailed panel or behavioral interviews. Finally, the interviewer gathers feedback for a decision, followed by a background check and then the job offer for whoever gets picked. It's a back-and-forth where you learn about the job and company, and they check your skills and if you'd fit in.

I had an unprofessional interview experience at Coditas for a senior leadership position. It took over a month to hear back from HR after applying, but once they reached out, I got the details I needed. Then, there was complete silence for another 1.5 months. When I followed up, I was told my profile was shortlisted and the interview process started. I went through three rounds of interviews in a week with senior leaders, including the CEO. Each interview was detailed, thoughtful, and lasted over an hour. I was told I cleared each stage and was in final discussions. Then, nothing for five weeks. I followed up a lot. They said leadership was traveling, then on vacation, then busy. Eventually, I got no more responses and was ghosted without feedback or closure, which is unacceptable for a senior role. Even a simple message about the role being on hold or filled would have been better. It seems the position is still not filled. This was a disappointing experience from a company that claims to value talent and transparency. Coditas needs to improve its hiring process and candidate experience. If you're not proceeding with a candidate, communicate it. Radio silence is not okay.
