Full Stack Developer
The process felt fast, clear, and genuinely human from the start. I kicked off with an informational chat where they laid out the project context, the role, and what they were looking for in a candidate. Then, I had a technical interview digging into my experience with TypeScript, Next.js, SQL databases, and AWS, asking specific, relevant questions about the day-to-day tasks. I felt at ease throughout, and they seemed to appreciate my skills and how I approach problems. Lastly, I got the offer letter with clear instructions for onboarding. It was a well-organized, respectful, and encouraging experience that gave me a great first impression of the company.
- How would you approach working in an agile team developing a product from scratch?
Project Manager
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- Can you discuss your most recent work experience?
- What tools are you familiar with?
Analista Funcional
- Could you detail your professional experience to date?
- If your closest friends were asked to describe you in one word, what would they say?
- How would you go about building a table?
Database Administrator
So, I started with a technical challenge where I got 3 out of 5 questions right, mostly because I didn't get the wording on two of them. But, I moved on to the technical interview. I thought they'd clarify those two questions, but surprise! They instead asked about MongoDB, which wasn't even the main thing. We ended up agreeing I'd take a MongoDB course. I did that, finished it, and let them know. Then, another surprise: they told me they'd already moved on to other people without any real explanation. Still, I finished the course, even though the whole process felt like a waste of time.
- Evaluate optional MongoDB skill.
- The main skill was SQL Server.
