Behavioral Technical

So, first there was an HR interview. Then, I had a technical interview with the tech lead, focusing on my experience and behavioural aspects. After that, I had an interview with a software engineer from the team, where they asked both behavioural and technical questions. The process stopped here. I got really good feedback from the tech lead, which was exciting, but then the HR completely ghosted me. I sent a follow-up email, but got no response at all. It’s a shame because I met genuinely good people from the team, but the hiring process isn't serious right now, which is disappointing for a company of this size – it feels unconsidered and unprofessional. They should probably focus on improving the hiring process before opening up new positions for engineering teams.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The positive aspects were the welcoming, professional, and transparent recruitment team. The interviews were well-structured, aiming to assess a mix of skills like technical abilities, cultural fit, and strategic thinking. I really liked the business case presentation, it let me show what I can do and how I understand the company's needs. Talking with everyone – the hiring manager, VP CS, and HR – was great; it felt collaborative and supportive. On the downside, the process took way too long, over 7 weeks, with slow feedback sometimes and long gaps between stages. This made waiting stressful and not very fast for a scale-up. Also, some final decision factors like location or very specific experience weren't mentioned upfront, which would have been helpful. The steps were: a first phone chat with HR about the role and my motivations. Then a deep dive with the hiring manager about my background and skills. After that, I prepared and presented a business case, followed by a detailed discussion. Finally, an interview with the VP CS to check cultural alignment and long-term outlook. Even though I didn't get the job, I found it a learning experience and got useful feedback. I still recommend CoachHub for those ready for a demanding and thorough process.

Behavioral Presentation

The recruitment process usually starts with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager interview. There was a role play component where I had to present a 30-60-90 day plan, which was fine. What I found a bit odd was the request to profile and map target accounts with stakeholders, create a presentation, and share it. I only listed the roles I'd target, as I value my time and network too much to share freely without pay. This didn't sit well with them, and it felt like they were just going through the motions because they clearly weren't going to offer me the job.

Behavioral Case Presentation

So there were 4 interviews in total. First up was a recruiter call, then I chatted with the hiring manager. After that, I had a case study interview with the hiring manager and a team member, and the final interview was a chat with a senior VP. Everything asked, including the case study, was super relevant to the role. The interviews felt structured, like they were using a specific rating system, and the case study was a good reflection of what the job would actually be like.
