It was a 3-stage interview process, with two elimination rounds and one ranking round. First, a group interview (behavioral analysis and job-specific test). Second, an interview with the HR and Supervision manager for the role, including a ranking test, and then information about the job duties, values, benefits, and bonuses. Third, a final interview with the Company Director for hiring.

I went through a week of classes about the ESA methodology, with two days where I had to apply what I learned. There was also a personal job interview. The methodology classes were intense, from morning to afternoon, with breaks only for lunch. The selection process is long and tough, and I have mixed feelings because they weren't clear about available schedules. I saw people fresh out of English courses get classes while Literature graduates with experience and better English didn't.

Behavioral Technical

The CNA selection process involved stages to check language understanding, communication skills, and eagerness to learn. I had a one-on-one interview, then a test to gauge my Spanish level. The vibe was welcoming, and the interviewers wanted to know about my technical ability as well as my commitment and drive. After passing, I started the course focusing on speaking and listening, and I'm still improving.

It took about 5 weeks. First a written test, listening to various texts at the NY Times level. I passed and only after that you will speak with the franchise interviewer. After three weeks I was called to talk to the interviewer/owner of the franchise. Pleasant conversation. I was approved for the next stage, which was the Teacher Training Course. Long story short: she said I would have to PAY R$250.00 for the course. What?! After the course, they would select 15 participants for a possible opening. Oh, they only hire if you are MEI (Micro-entrepreneur). I wanted to get up from the chair as soon as she said I had to pay. Franchise in Recife.
