The CNA selection process involved stages to check language understanding, communication skills, and eagerness to learn. I had a one-on-one interview, then a test to gauge my Spanish level. The vibe was welcoming, and the interviewers wanted to know about my technical ability as well as my commitment and drive. After passing, I started the course focusing on speaking and listening, and I'm still improving.

They did a selection test with math and writing questions, then I had an interview with the supervision and another interview with the manager. They asked about my personal life and interests since I didn't have previous experience.

The whole hiring thing took about a month. I dropped off my resume in person and got a call the same day to come in. When I got there, there were maybe 20 people. We were led into a room where the HR lady explained the job was from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Most people left after hearing that. We were given a screening form to fill out with our past experiences, our weak points, strong points, and a short essay about ourselves. Then, we were sent in groups of 4 for an online test. The test had math, Portuguese, and computer skills, including Excel and Word. You had to get over 50% and couldn't fail any section. The test was pretty easy, but many people didn't pass the minimum. After that, we were let go for lunch. When we came back, we had a quick one-on-one interview. There was a questionnaire about us, like which answers meant I was a certain animal, some psychology stuff haha. After the interview, the HR person scheduled an interview with the company director for two days later. On that day, the director talked to everyone together first, and each of us had to introduce ourselves. Then he talked to us individually. Throughout the whole thing, he kept telling those who couldn't handle working under pressure to leave, saying it wouldn't be easy. He did a psychological game and encouraged us to quit the whole time. Nobody quit. He then said goodbye and that HR would be in touch. HR did contact us to say if we passed or not. I checked with another candidate who got the call and didn't pass. I moved on to the second phase, the training. The training doesn't mean you passed, not at all! It's 3 super tiring days learning about the company's dynamics, the most important tasks, and how it was founded. At the end of each day, there were tests. Finally, the day after the last training day, I got the call to bring my documents. And here I am.
