First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cloud Gate Consulting.
Account Manager
So I applied online and then shortly after, I got a call from HR. They talked a bit about the job and then invited me in. It was a 3-part thing. First, I met with the manager to just introduce ourselves. Then, the second interview was over coffee. We talked about how the company operates, what they'd expect if I got the job, and also compensation. This one was more detailed, they asked a lot about my past jobs. Lastly, the third interview was back with the manager.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What kind of work experience do you have from before?
Account Executive
I had an initial 10-minute interview where they explained the job. The next day, I had a second interview for about an hour and a half, grabbing coffee with an owner who discussed the office model and expectations. Then, there was a very brief third interview at the office to finalize things. I received a call later that day with a job offer.
- Why do you think you'd be a good fit for this role?
- What makes you stand out compared to other applicants?
Marketing Associate
It was three interviews in total, spread across two days. The first one felt like it could have been a phone call, mostly them telling me about the job, not many questions for me. It was about 10 minutes. Then the second interview was more about the job details, again, no questions for me. The third one was the actual interview in my view, but still not a lot of questions asked.
- What are your career goals
Customer Service Representative
It was a simple and straightforward interview process. They asked me questions about myself and my career aspirations. I felt nervous, but the interviewer and receptionist were very friendly and calm. I really liked the company and the way the interview went.
- What are your career goals for the next five years?
- What do you seek in a profession?
