First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cloud Gate Consulting.
Account Manager
It was a pretty straightforward process. The in-person interview was pretty standard. The interviewer didn't seem too excited about the company, and I didn't get a great feeling. The office is in a really inconvenient location in Elmhurst, IL. The drive from the city took a while, but it might be worth it if you're up for the commute.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strength?
- What about your greatest weakness?
Account Manager
I had a two-step interview process. First, I chatted with a hiring manager who asked about my resume qualifications, focusing on past work experience and leadership examples. They also asked about my education and how my major fits the company. This first call was about 15-20 mins. Then, I had a longer interview, like an hour to an hour and a half, with a different manager. I got to know the company better, met some staff, and we talked about job expectations and how I'd be measured. During this second interview, they also mentioned the Monday-Friday schedule.
- In what ways can your academic major contribute to your success at our organization?
Account Manager
So I applied online and then shortly after, I got a call from HR. They talked a bit about the job and then invited me in. It was a 3-part thing. First, I met with the manager to just introduce ourselves. Then, the second interview was over coffee. We talked about how the company operates, what they'd expect if I got the job, and also compensation. This one was more detailed, they asked a lot about my past jobs. Lastly, the third interview was back with the manager.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What kind of work experience do you have from before?
