AP
The recruiting process was straightforward and pleasant. The recruiter was approachable and provided clear, detailed information about the role and company culture, emphasizing the open-door atmosphere despite it being a public company. The company's convenient location and hybrid work options were also highlighted.
- Can you describe your strengths and provide examples of how they have been effective?
Digital Marketing Manager
There were 4 rounds in total. The recruiter was nice and some people were great to chat with. The first interview was a phone call, followed by an interview with the hiring manager(s). The third interview was a panel. Sometimes, they add another interview if they're not sure about the candidate.
- What would you do if you were given $100 million?
Partner Strategy Manager
My interview experience was a complete waste of time, ending in rejection after an assessment with no feedback provided. It felt very amateur. The process involved an initial screener call with HR, followed by a written assessment which took over an hour to complete. Ultimately, I was rejected post-assessment without any explanation or feedback, and I never had the chance to speak with the hiring manager.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
Web Developer
As a mid-level localization developer, I went through a bunch of interviews to show my skills, experience, and how I'd fit in. First, they checked my resume and cover letter for relevant experience and skills. Then, I had a technical interview with a live coding exercise and code review to check my programming and localization dev skills. After that, a behavioral interview tested my soft skills like communication and problem-solving. Next, a managerial interview focused on my leadership and team management abilities, asking about past experiences and how I handled tough situations. Finally, a cultural fit interview assessed my alignment with the company's culture, values, and mission, asking about my personality and work style. After all that, they decided to offer me a job, but I turned it down because even though the tech was amazing, the company culture, especially from the top, was really unstable and had a condescending, unhappy leader.
- Can you describe a time you had to create a new process for handling version-controlled database changes, including backups and automation?
