Claims Representative
They moved through the process really quick for me which I greatly appreciated, I had been laid off a few weeks prior and was interviewing with multiple companies. Take home assessment took less than half and hour to complete. Standard process that tests your hard skills first and then your soft skills. Offer was good but I had another offer at the time that was just a little bit better.

Frontend Engineer
The interview process involved a recruiter call, a video conversation, a technical assessment, and then a final interview of some sort. It's worth noting this company had two rounds of layoffs last year, about which the recruiter was really vague, and half the engineering team was let go in the second round. This role seems to be tied to their new funding, so if you're looking for something stable long-term, this might not be it. Also, that unlimited PTO thing is no longer a thing, and they've clarified everyone gets 12 paid holidays plus accrues 20 days off, with no separate sick leave.
- Regarding new feature implementation, what criteria do you use to choose between utilizing a library and developing a custom component?
Customer Advocacy Manager
The recruiter was super helpful and informative, but the whole process moved at a glacial pace. By the time I reached the second interview stage for the first role, I was told it had already been filled. They then offered me the Assistant Customer Advocacy role, which I turned down. About five months later, I reapplied for the Agency Account Specialist position. I made it to the second round, and things seemed to be going really well. However, a week after that, I got an email saying the role was filled. It felt like a lot of false hope, especially since the recruiters and hiring managers were so optimistic, and I'd heard such great things about Clearcover. It was a really disappointing experience.
- Can you tell me about your transferable skills and how they would benefit this position?
Data Analyst
The interview process was pretty efficient. It started with a brief phone screen with the recruiter, then an online SQL test (I had several days to start it and an hour to complete). After that, there was a 45-minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager. The process finished with a virtual onsite, which included a 1-hour case study and 30-minute interviews with both the director and HR. I heard back within 1 business day after each round and got my offer the same day as the virtual onsite. Everyone left a good impression of the company, which led me to accept my offer.
