The interview process was long and drawn out, but the people were nice. It felt like too many rounds for the experience level needed for the role, maybe 4-5 rounds in total. It went all the way up to a final interview with the CEO, which was weird because I never even talked to them during the entire year I worked there.

Had a recruiter call first, then a video interview with the hiring manager. After those two went well, I had a bunch of multi-participant calls, each with 2 or 3 interviewers. Met with about 10 people in total. The team was really competent and motivated, which was great. It did get pretty repetitive hearing the same kinds of things in all the sessions though.

I first submitted my resume, cover letter, and a quick video online. They reached out soon after for a phone screen. Then, I had a phone call with the hiring manager that same week. The next day, I went in for an in-person interview with the Talent Acquisition Manager, a current Client Solutions Specialist, and their HR Manager. After that, I had another interview with the hiring manager. My final interview was supposed to be a phone call with the two founders, but I had already accepted another offer by then. It seemed like they were going to make an offer, I just needed to chat with the founders, but the other company had better long-term potential. Overall, the people I met were really great – friendly, professional, and easy to chat with. It was tough telling them I got another job because I liked them so much. They were also aware I was on a tight schedule due to other interviews, so they were accommodating and tried to keep things moving quickly.

It was a pretty extensive interview process. It started with a recruiter screen, then a phone interview. After that, there were four back-to-back 30-minute interviews. There were more steps if you were good at jumping through hoops. I noticed they weren't a very diverse organization during my interview, which worried me about bias as an ethnic individual. I ultimately wasn't chosen to move forward, but the company will always make the best decision for them. It just wasn't meant to be.
