First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cinemark.
Sales Associate
We had a meeting with 8 people where they asked some icebreaker questions. You need to be quick and show initiative, proactivity, willingness, and predisposition. Also, Thursdays are when they start the week, so it's important that you have full availability before noon and time to dedicate to it.
- What was the last movie you saw at the cinema?
- Was your event experience virtual or also in person?
- What are your available hours?
Atendente
Sales and Production Official
It was just one group interview. Each of us was asked to give a short presentation about our studies, work experience, and skills. We also had to state our hourly availability (part-time or full-time) and whether we were studying (to help with scheduling). We were also asked which position we were interested in, either host or sales and production. I understand some applicants had an individual interview afterward, but that wasn't my case.
- What are your working hours availability?
- Are you currently enrolled in studies?
- Which role would you prefer to work in: host or sales and production?
Senior Finance Manager
I applied for a corporate role and heard back from HR about a month later to schedule an interview. After that, it took another month to get a second interview with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, a month after that, I received a generic rejection email. The entire process felt unorganized and dragged on for too long, so I wouldn't suggest applying here if you're looking for efficiency.
- Can you describe your typical daily responsibilities in your current role?
- What specifically about this position interests you?
