I went through 2 rounds of technical interviews and got confirmation emails that I was selected. However, after sending 3 reminders over the last 20 days, I found out I wasn't selected. They said their budget was less than my current CTC, even though CTC and expected CTC were discussed before the interview. It shows the unprofessionalism of companies nowadays.

Don’t waste your time. First HR will inform the budget what they can give you before technical rounds. After you clear all technical rounds then HR ask you to come Managerial F2F discussion which is 10 mins duration and just casual discussion. After this round HR will say YOU CAN LEAVE FOR THE DAY. Same process happens to me 4 times in 6 years span of time. Also same process happens to my two friends for 3 times. My Advise is don’t waste your valuable time with these unprofessional Managers and HRs in this organisation.

There are 3 rounds for the interview. The first two rounds will be handled by a Cigniti employee, and the third round will be with the client. In the first round, they will ask some basic questions and 1 to 2 programs to check problem-solving and analytical thinking. In the second round, they will ask about your current project and real-time scenarios. If these two rounds go well, they will then process your profile to the client. Once the client round is cleared, they will have an HR round for salary discussion.

The HR person was very polite and professional. The L1 interviewer, Sanjana, seemed to lack soft skills training and professionalism, as she didn't even introduce herself. Cigniti's practice of requiring only the candidate to have video on during calls is unusual and unprofessional. The L1 panel member seemed inexperienced, with 6-7 years of experience interviewing a candidate with over 10 years of experience, which raises questions about Cigniti's assessment process. Cigniti should ensure a more experienced panel member is present for interviews. It was disappointing to be interviewed by someone unfamiliar with Agile development practices, including test-dev integration and automation script creation/maintenance. The experience would have been better with a more experienced interviewer from Cigniti.
