The interview process has 4 stages. The first stage is an interview with HR to discuss basic things, your salary expectations, and to see if you're a good prospect. The second stage is an interview with a consultant or senior consultant, which is probably where you'll learn the most about the job. They will review your past experiences and skills and see if you're someone they'd like to work with. The third stage involves a business case. The topic is pretty random, but the goal is to see if you can come up with at least one idea to defend for the business case, if you're decent at presenting a PowerPoint, and if you know how to make one. The fourth stage is with the partner. It seems very chill at first. They asked me to explain my whole background and tell them a bit about my life, like how I ended up interviewing with them. The idea here is to get a better sense of you as a person, your background, and how you navigate your career, etc.

Intern
I had 3 interviews. The first was a simple HR interview about my motivations. The second interview was with a junior consultant, which included a small market sizing exercise and some FIT questions. The third interview was with a senior consultant, where I received a case study to prepare about 48 hours in advance. The interviews with the consultants went very well. However, the HR experience was terrible! First, I was dealing with a junior HR person who conducted the first interview. She didn't respond for a month before getting back to me for the second interview. After the second interview, she invited me to lunch, saying she had a good feeling about me and really wanted to hire me, which was unprofessional. After the final interview, I emailed her for feedback, and she said she'd reply in a few days. Meanwhile, I found out she had resigned. Then I started dealing with another HR person from New York, who didn't reply to my emails. I finally got her on the phone, and she said it seemed good and they'd likely hire me but would confirm the next day. Then she ghosted me for two weeks before sending a simple email saying they couldn't hire me. I asked for reasons, but got no response. I know the consultants liked me, and I suspect the HR person didn't want to handle my case because I needed a visa. Regardless, the HR department is extremely unprofessional! They sold me a dream, I turned down another internship for them knowing this, and they still ghosted me. I advise you not to believe what HR tells you if you interview with them (speaking about the New York office).

Associate
The interview process was extremely disorganized. Despite the different levels of interviews, they weren't well-structured. In every round, I had to wait at least 15 minutes for the interviewer because they were working at a client site. They would then ask me to wait at reception for another 5 minutes without any apology for being late. Since it was a shared office space, I'd end up waiting in the lobby while the receptionist left, making me wonder if anyone was still there. The HR person who contacted me stayed inside and didn't even step out briefly to greet me in person. Additionally, there was a possibility of a round being canceled with no prior notice because an interviewer was unavailable or got busy.

Consultant
The interview process had 4 interviews: first HR, then with a Director, then a business case with another director or manager, and finally an interview with the partner. I completed the first 3 but didn't make it to the partner, meaning I didn't pass the business case. I only had about 1-2 hours for the presentation slides and practice. The business case was very broad, not a simple question, and required your own judgment. You need to take a week off to do thorough research. Since I had a full-time job, I didn't dedicate enough time, which led to failing the business case. All interviewers were nice and easy-going, and there were no trick questions except for the business case. Interviews were conducted in both French and English.
