First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ceros.
Account Executive
The interview process is pretty standard except for a homework assignment. First, there was a recruiter call, which was great. Then, I had an interview with the director of business development. It was terrible. The interviewer had no personality or sales skills. I couldn't believe they were in charge of hiring. They seemed really uninterested and uninterested in the interview. Very dry, bland, and didn't represent a successful sales professional. My advice if you want an offer: be boring. Don't be upbeat, positive, or excited. Be depressing, act like you don't care, and don't try to build a relationship.

Software Engineer
The interview process involved an HR call, a technical interview, and a home assignment. The home assignment was a game that was fun to work on, taking me 2-3 full days to get it working correctly. I completed all required and optional tasks, and even added extra features as encouraged. I focused on making the solution scalable using a factory design pattern and added thorough documentation. The solution I submitted was, in my opinion, very good. Despite this, I was rejected with a generic message and no feedback, which felt disrespectful of my time.
- Can you discuss your previous work experiences?
Account Executive
The process was great. Started with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, followed by a demo and culture interviews. The team was super clear, kept me updated, and was really thorough across more than 6 conversations. It was cool to meet the manager, department head, CRO, and a future coworker. Each chat gave me a better idea of what it's like to work at Ceros. Super happy it went well and I'm stoked to join!
- Which Ceros value do you most identify with?
- Can you walk me through your sales process in detail, highlighting what has been successful and what hasn't?
Product Manager
I had a back and forth with the recruiter, then a screening, and they told me about the next steps. But then suddenly the recruiter reached out to say they were really sorry, that I was doing really well, but the role was already filled. Ok, no worries, these things happen. Two weeks later, a friend of mine who is also looking for jobs got contacted by Ceros for the same role because it's open again. Ok, no worries, this happens sometimes. I reached back out to the recruiter who previously stated they loved me but someone else accepted an offer first, to ask about the situation. The recruiter ghosted me. But the same recruiter is talking to my friend? It's just rude.
