First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ceros.
Sales Development Representative
I applied online and got a notice they wanted to move forward, which I was super excited about. The interview process included: 1) a phone screen, 2) a take-home email assessment, and 3) a 2-hour values panel interview. This is where things went downhill. They said culture and values were super important at Ceros and they wanted to hear my story and how my skills could help the team. I met with 5 people for two hours and got positive feedback that made me think I got the job. However, within 48 hours, I was told I wasn't selected to move forward. I was really disappointed and frustrated, especially after investing so much time. They responded saying they chose candidates who better articulated their potential impact on the SDR team's performance, their ability to follow and build sales development processes, develop new client outreach tactics, and their personal investment in supporting team members. They said these were key strengths they were looking for. But, the interview felt more like a personality and values test, even though I thought I clearly discussed my strengths. So, if you're interviewing with them, be aware and prepare extra thoroughly for all aspects.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Sales Development Representative
I did a phone screening then moved to the assessment portion of the process. I thought it was a really good assessment that I did considering I was very creative and followed the example but the example is not accurate of what they expect. They seem to want a lot of info about the company added to the writing portion (more than what it shows in the example). It’s also weird they are so keen on the writing aspect considering they expect “no experience”. I like the company values and culture but they should be more specific and forgiving when knowing people who have no prior experience are doing an SDR activity. I’d focus on how creative someone is more than info written because that part can be trained, creativity and personality can’t be.
- Prospect 3 people and write creative cold emails.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process for this role was quite fast, taking about 1-2 weeks on average. It was entirely remote and included a take-home test followed by interviews with several managers, concluding with a values-based interview. I found the whole experience to be enjoyable and felt comfortable throughout.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Ceros?
- What would you consider to be your greatest strengths?
