So, for Data Science Engineer at Celebal Technologies, first they check your resume. If it's good, you get an online assessment or a Kaggle-like task. This tests your Python, SQL, ML knowledge, and if you can actually solve problems. After that, there are usually one or two tech interviews. They'll grill you on ML algorithms, how to measure models, preparing data, stats, and really dig into your past projects to see if you know your stuff and how you applied it. Sometimes they throw in a live coding or case study too. Finally, there's an HR chat to see if you fit in, what your goals are, and what you expect salary-wise.

So the whole thing started with them looking at my resume, then I had to do an online test that checked my JavaScript, React basics, and some computer science stuff like OOPs and SQL. After passing that, I went into a technical interview where they talked about React (like components, hooks, virtual DOM), JavaScript fundamentals, and my past projects. The last part was with HR, and it was pretty chill, mostly about my background, what I like, and if I'm keen to learn. The whole process wasn't too rough, pretty smooth sailing.

Day 1 - HR reached out about the position. Day 2 - Interview was set up. Day 3 - Had an online technical interview. It started with introductions, but the interviewer then asked about things I'd just mentioned in my intro, like they weren't really listening. The whole interview felt unprofessional and lacking basic courtesy, with HR not stepping in. Even though it was for a React role, none of the questions were about React. It was all theory about core HTML and CSS, asking for precise bookish definitions. If I tried to explain with use cases, examples, or other details, they'd just laugh and repeat the bookish definition. It seemed like they were inexperienced, possibly just reading from a script. My advice to management: ensure interviewers are qualified, experienced, and capable of conducting interviews professionally.

The interview process involved these questions: Tell me about yourself, How you handle high cardinality columns in SQL, What is overload in databricks, What are pools in databricks how it is used, When you have 2 equal large data frames how you will handle joins, What is de duplicated in SQL, Given 2 tables and asked to get result for all joins, How to copy data from on premise sql server to ADLS, How will you handle incoming huge data around 50 GB, If your daily data is only 5GB, Explain about out of memory in pyspark. In what cases you will get OOM.
