It was fun and easy. We got a mail and had to complete an assignment. The interview was conducted in MS Teams. The questions were easy, about your college projects.

So first, you apply and send your resume, either through the portal or email. HR and tech recruiters look at it to see if you have the basic stuff for a React Developer, like React.js, JavaScript, and web dev experience. If you seem to fit, you'll get an invite for a quick chat, usually with HR. They just wanna know if you're into the company, what your career goals are, and if you're available. Then, if you make the cut, they'll hit you with a technical assessment to check out your React.js skills, probably some coding challenges or projects.

  • Could you explain what the virtual DOM is in React and why it matters?
  • How do you manage state and props in React components, and what's your decision process for choosing between them?

The technical interview was pretty good – two developers asked me some relevant questions about React.js, JavaScript, performance, and DSA. But then things got messy. No one followed up or gave me feedback on time. I had to chase the HR team multiple times, and they just gave me generic answers like "profile is in review" or "team is evaluating other candidates." Now HR isn't even responding, neither on calls nor via email after several follow-ups.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Questions mostly focused on core JavaScript and ReactJS.
  • They also asked some DSA questions.
