Customer Service Agent
When I got there, we started with a group interview for introductions. If you passed that, you went to a one-on-one interview. Then there were some assessments, followed by the final interview. After that, I signed a contract that included details about the training.
- Can you elaborate on your responsibilities in your prior role?
Customer Service Agent
The interview process is a full-day event, so bring your own lunch. It begins with submitting physical documents like your CV, certified ID, certified Matric certificate, proof of address, and bank statement at reception. Next, there's a group session where you introduce yourself; this is a critical early stage for elimination and selection, so make an effort to show your value. Following that, you'll take tests covering general knowledge, maths literacy, English comprehension, and computer skills. If you pass these, you'll have a small group interview with an operations team leader. The process can be a bit disorganized, but they do manage to process everyone who qualifies.
- How would you handle a team leader who creates pressure and stress in the workplace?
Call Center Agent
So first, they look at your CV, then they'll call you or do a video call to see how you talk. After that, you might have to do some tests, like typing or if you know how to use a computer, or if you're good with customers. Then, if they like you, you go for an in-person interview, maybe with a few people. Sometimes they'll have you do a pretend call to see how you'd talk to a customer. If all goes well, they do background checks, then offer you the job and start training.
- Do you have prior experience working in a call center?
Employee
The interview process was good, although my nervousness caused me to miss some words. It was straightforward, rated moderately positive with easy difficulty. It often lasts a day requiring patience, preparation, and readiness for multiple rounds.
- Did you have any experience?
- Would you be able to work the hours?
