I was first contacted by a recruiter due to a referral. We had a 30-minute initial call, and then another 45-minute call with the same recruiter a couple of days later where similar questions were asked. After that, I was scheduled for what was supposed to be a 30-minute interview, but it ended up being an hour and a half because three different people interviewed me sequentially. Following that, I had a debrief with the recruiter who questioned my enthusiasm for the role. Then, I was given a take-home assignment to create a mock client presentation within 24 hours. I spent that time crafting a deck and then presented it for 30 minutes to three interviewers. The feedback was that my presentation could have included more actionable items with direct impact, even though that wasn't explicitly part of the assignment and I only had public information to work with.

Behavioral Other

They are always hiring for this role, and the interview process was pretty invasive. HR called all three of my references and interviewed them for 30 minutes each about me. My references called me right after, saying they didn't think C-4 Analytics would be a good place to work based on their chat. Reference calls should be super short, like under 3 minutes, just confirming employment and if they'd hire the person again, not asking for weaknesses. I wish I had backed out after the first round instead of doing four interviews; there were red flags everywhere. Stay away from this company.

The process was pretty simple. I started with a recruiter call, then talked to the local sales manager, and finally had a meeting with leadership. They wanted to understand my knowledge and sales approach. It was a good experience, not too tough. Leadership asked some similar questions from different points of view, which could be a bit much for some, but it was fine for me.

The interview was a standard Google Meet call for what was advertised as an Enterprise Sales Director position. They wanted to understand my motivations for seeking new employment and my interest in their company. However, it turned out they weren't actually hiring for a director role, but rather a sales executive position that could potentially lead to a director role after a couple of years. This felt misleading, as I believe they should have advertised it as a sales executive role with future growth potential. Another issue was a lack of transparency regarding compensation. Although the target salary was stated as $200k upon hitting goals, they were evasive when I asked for clarification. Learning that the average employee tenure is around 2 years makes this lack of clarity more understandable.
