Cashier
The interview was easy and had straightforward questions about your past experience in similar jobs and how you'd deal with specific scenarios. They gave me the job offer pretty quickly after.
- What experience do you have in this field?
- Tell me about your previous experience in similar roles.
- Describe how you would handle specific situations that might arise in this job.
Hostess
The interview process was straightforward and simple. It was mainly to assess my ability to handle busy customer traffic. I received a call back the next day. The manager inquired about my past work experiences and how they would apply to the hostess position.
- Could you share your previous work experiences and explain how they would be relevant to this hostess role?
Bartender
They asked me some basic questions about if I knew about the job and what my past experience was like. We also talked about my schedule and when I could work. Since I hadn't done this exact job before, they asked about other jobs I might have had that used similar skills. They also asked if I'd be okay with serving food and greeting people too.
- Have you done bartending previously?
Bartender
I had an interview scheduled for 3:00 PM. The manager was late and didn't arrive until 3:45 PM. Then, a Shift Lead conducted my interview instead of the manager. It was quiet and dim in the restaurant, which made me question if I wanted to work there. I never met the manager, even though a "second interview" was mentioned, which felt like a polite way to reschedule. They don't let you start behind the bar right away, regardless of experience, which is understandable for busy restaurants. The shift lead mentioned that they have a high turnover rate, which I could see why.
- Is having a car a requirement for this position?
