It was a short interview, they didn't really ask about the job itself. They didn't share any details about the role either. Pretty much a waste of time. They saw I was in college on my resume but still offered an interview, then when I mentioned I was in college during the interview, they just ignored me.

The interview was about 30 minutes. The manager sat down with my application and some questions. He took notes on my answers, which mostly were about past work experiences. He asked about dealing with tough customers and coworkers, why I want to work there, what I look for in a manager, and an accomplishment I'm proud of. There were a lot of questions, and surprisingly, not many personal questions, mostly work-related. The whole thing felt a bit impersonal, and the interviewer seemed uninterested and tired. I'm waiting to hear if I got the job.

The interview process was a bit tricky because the questions were worded kind of strangely. For example, they asked me to talk about a time I did something amazing and why I was picked for it, plus what happened. They also mentioned that if you're a minor, the shifts are only 5 hours, which isn't great pay for that length of time. I decided to look for a place that offers an 8-hour shift with better pay, and I found one. I was also surprised by how much work is involved for such a small shop based on their job description. The food is good, but the job itself seems like a lot. If you're still interested in the job, make sure to come with a lot of questions, as it shows you're prepared.
