So, the process was about 5 steps total. Started with the online application, then a general chat with a recruiter to see if I was a good fit overall. After that, I talked to the hiring manager about the specifics of the role. Then, I had interviews with some senior folks on the team to see how I'd fit in. The last step was a presentation and a panel interview with the director and VP. Each chat was about 30 to 60 minutes.

I submitted my application and then a recruiter reached out for an initial screening. After that, I had a meeting with the hiring manager where we talked about general behavioral stuff. Then, I was given a take-home assessment. Once I sent that back, I met with two other team members. We discussed my answers from the take-home and they asked me some more behavioral questions.

It was a good interview, but I never heard back with any feedback. I tried following up, but I was never notified about the status of the position. It would have been nice to at least get an automated email saying I wasn't being considered, even if I wasn't going to get specific feedback.

I was contacted by a recruiter via email for a video interview. A couple of days after, I had a meeting with my potential manager. The interview seemed to go well. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back for over three weeks, despite following up. Eventually, the recruiter informed me that I wasn't selected for the next stage because they found another candidate with more extensive experience in fashion and e-commerce. Interestingly, during the waiting period, I saw a Senior Graphic Designer role posted with the same job description as the one I applied for, but it was a less senior position. It would have been more professional if they had been upfront about re-evaluating the role or pursuing a different direction. Additionally, I looked up the candidate who was hired; their claimed 'rich background' and management experience seemed exaggerated based on their actual resume.
