First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Blink Health.
In-office role
It started with a 45 min recruiter call, then I talked to the hiring manager and two team members. The recruiter call was way too long and unfocused, but the hiring manager was great. The recruiter kept in touch after that and set up another interview. After that last interview, there was silence for about a week. Then I spoke with a couple of team members who had conflicting ideas about the job. It felt like a waste of time because the role wasn't clear internally, communication was all over the place, and they seemed to have contradictory policies (like an in-office requirement while talking to remote people). The job is already posted again too. Thank goodness I didn't end up there.
- Can you share your experience with dogfooding a product?
Product Manager
The interview process was really unclear, and it seemed like the company wasn't sure what they were looking for in a product manager. The recruiting part was even worse, with recruiters being rigid and not communicating well. I went through multiple interviews over several weeks. I was given a case study to complete within 72 hours, which involved solving a problem and then a follow-up case study. This interview got rescheduled several times to fit someone's schedule in India. During the case study presentation, the interviewers asked questions that suggested they hadn't even read my work. They didn't turn on their cameras and seemed distracted and uninterested. Afterward, I was told the feedback was positive and I'd proceed to the next stage. Then, they just went silent. I never heard back, and the experience ended as abruptly and unprofessionally as possible.
- What's your approach to integrating a chatbot into the patient experience?
Software Engineer
So there were 5 rounds in total. The first 4 were technical and the last one was with a director. The first two were DSA rounds, then a LLD round, then an HLD round, and finally the director round. The DSA rounds had like 2-3 questions depending on how quickly you solve them, and the interviewers were helpful. The design rounds were deep dives. The director round wasn't too technical, mostly about me. After that, the recruiter said I passed everything but there's another drive next Saturday and they'll confirm after that to see if they find a better candidate. That's when I kinda lost interest. I kept following up with the recruiter, but he kept saying 2 more days for the offer letter, which never came. He was friendly but not really helpful.

- And HLD rounds
Patient Service Representative
The recruiter gave me a call and answered all my questions. They explained the job and what the company is looking for. Then, we set up a Zoom meeting with a Team Lead. The Zoom interview was chill, no pressure, and felt good. They asked about my skills, what I've done, and 'tell me about a time when...'. I also got to ask them about the job, benefits, and the company. The interviewer was nice, helpful, and professional, and seemed happy to answer my questions.
- Can you share a time you dealt with a difficult client who was angry or upset, and explain how you managed the situation?
