Behavioral Presentation

There were six rounds in total, but it never felt intimidating. The process was thorough by design. I met with a variety of people I'd actually be working with across the business, completed a project, and went through a panel interview. The questions covered past experience with practical examples, comfort working directly with senior leaders, and situational questions like how I'd handle negative feedback. Everyone I spoke with was genuinely friendly, and by the end it felt more like a conversation about what the role would actually look like than a traditional interview. If you're a good fit, you'll feel it.

Behavioral Technical

I applied for the AI Engineer role and got a referral. HR reached out within a week and set up the first round, which was supposed to be techno-functional, covering my skills, experience, projects, and their alignment with the job description. I logged in a bit early, but the interviewer was a few minutes late and asked me to turn on my camera, while he kept his off. He seemed uninterested from the start. The interview was very short, about 7-8 minutes. I was later informed by HR that the date Oct 9th, 2025, was after the launch of GPT-4o-mini in July 2024, so the interviewer was mistaken about the release date.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and got an email about the next step, which was a screening (offline/online) about my interest in the role and organization. The next round was an assessment where I had to present one of my end-to-end projects. After that, they asked technical, behavioral, and competency questions about alternate approaches and methodologies. The final round was with the director, focusing on company fit questions. The process was smooth; just be thorough with your CV and job description.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview started with a recruiter call, followed by a meeting with the Director. The final round consisted of 6 parts: 5 individual interviews and a panel interview. The process felt like they were trying to extract ideas. During the presentation, they focused on getting important info about my current work. Some interviewers were rude, and surprisingly, some lacked basic knowledge of data science concepts like prompt engineering and couldn't grasp business objectives or evaluation metrics without repeated explanations.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Given a train/test event rate of 10% and an out-of-time test data event rate of 5%, why did you proceed with model building without verifying the real-time data for the subsequent six months, which showed a 5% event rate?
  • Regarding building a prospect model for targeting clients for house refinances, at which phase would you develop this model: during underwriting or funding?
  • I discussed building a summarization project with Llama2 for a finance company using call transcripts. How is this feasible given that individuals might discuss SSNs and sensitive company information?
