I applied online and got an email about the next step, which was a screening (offline/online) about my interest in the role and organization. The next round was an assessment where I had to present one of my end-to-end projects. After that, they asked technical, behavioral, and competency questions about alternate approaches and methodologies. The final round was with the director, focusing on company fit questions. The process was smooth; just be thorough with your CV and job description.

This was the worst interview experience ever, very unprofessional and a major red flag for the company. The process was long and tedious: First, there was a 1.5-hour technical test. Then, the first technical round was scheduled but the interviewer ghosted me. We rescheduled for the next day, and it was a 1-hour interview. For the second technical round, it was supposed to be with 3 panelists, but only 2 showed up. They had to reschedule a third round because one panelist missed it. The third technical round went for 45 minutes. After that, there was a fourth round which was a project review that lasted 45 minutes. They rejected me after all this, saying my communication was poor. They used 4 rounds to assess my communication skills, and I spent 4 hours preparing a PowerPoint presentation and explaining my project architecture. I suspect they use interviews to steal project ideas.

The interview process took a little less than 3 weeks and had about 5 interview stages. It started with a recruiter call, then a hiring manager chat, followed by a technical interview, a SQL/Python test, and finally an onsite with 5 team members and a project presentation. It was pretty time-consuming, and in the end, they said there weren't any projects I could start on. I wish they'd cut me earlier instead of having me go through all the rounds and waste my time. I spent about 15 hours on the presentation and took time off work for the onsite. The team is young and still figuring things out, trying to get leadership buy-in. While the cultural blend is good and there are some amazing people, it feels like they're getting ahead of themselves.
